Bunyad Bhatti focuses her practice on helping health care facilities and health care technology companies navigate issues involving regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Bunyad provides advice on an array of industry-specific policies and procedures, including HIPAA, and drafts privacy notices, consent forms and authorization forms for disclosure to align with state and federal regulations. She advises health care providers, health plans, and their business associates on privacy and data security matters to help them safeguard protected health information (PHI), including drafting data use agreements for health information exchanges and protocols for breach notifications. She also provides counsel on employment agreements and other contracts.

In addition to her work for the health care industry, Bunyad assists with transactional matters such as entity formation and advises public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and shareholder agreements. She also provides advice on corporate regulatory compliance and prepares due diligence on company financials and operations to help clients identify risks and opportunities. Her experience also includes drafting critical documents such as board consents, stockholder consents, and stock purchase agreements for private company financings as well as opinion letters related to initial public offerings.
