Carmen Contreras-Martinez represents corporate clients who are involved in commercial disputes and/or facing financial difficulties that require them to restructure or file for bankruptcy. The dual nature of her practice as a trial lawyer and bankruptcy attorney positions her to handle cases where unresolved issues connected to contracts, disagreements involving business partners and shareholders, or other matters, may lead clients to consider bankruptcy. Her experience includes representations in both state and federal courts, including U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
Carmen has extensive experience handling litigation involving real estate, insurance and disputes between businesses. Over the course of her career, she has also been counsel for some of the largest class action and litigation matters in South Florida.
