Christie McGuinness is a trial lawyer who handles complex litigation in federal and state courts, particularly commercial and business disputes. Christie also litigates a wide range of other types of matters, including cases under the False Claims Act as well as breach of contract, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty claims. Christie has obtained verdicts and judgments in both jury and bench trials in these cases.
In addition, Christie is driven by a passion for equal access to justice, and she is committed to initiatives that support diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession and community. She maintains a robust practice handling pro bono cases involving prisoners’ rights on behalf of incarcerated individuals. Prior to obtaining her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, Christie served as a student prosecutor for the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.
Christie has been selected to the New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Stars list annually since 2024.
