Overview

Drake Broussard is a member of the Transactional Department in the firm's Philadelphia office. He maintains a general corporate practice and assists with a variety of deals. His skill set includes: reviewing contracts; drafting a wide array of forms, agreements and bylaws; and handling filings for compliance with the Corporate Transparency, the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Initial Notice requirements. He also assists with mergers and acquisitions and securities matters.

While earning his J.D. at Penn State Dickinson Law, Drake was a summer associate at Saul Ewing and a legal intern with Penn State’s Arts, Sports, and Entertainment Law Clinic. He also served as a graduate assistant in the Office of Student Affairs, where he co-advised the University Park Allocation Committee (UPAC) on distributing $4.5 million in funding to student organization initiatives. In addition, Drake worked as a contracts advisor, preparing and issuing university-approved contracts, licenses, and agreements with third-party vendors.
