John Paul Regan, better known as JP, is a commercial litigator and appellate practitioner who advocates for clients in commercial, higher education, and regulatory disputes. His litigation experience primarily includes contractual disputes, corporate governance matters, shareholder derivative actions, Title IX claims, and general employee-related issues. In addition to his litigation work, JP supports clients in their business planning by researching and interpreting government regulations and other business obligations and advising them on compliance and dispute avoidance.
JP also provides appellate consultation and strategy, especially with respect to Pennsylvania appellate matters, based on his experience arguing cases before the Pennsylvania Superior Court and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He has also practiced before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third Circuit and D.C. Circuit, and aided in appeals in several other jurisdictions.

Before entering private practice, JP served as deputy law clerk for the Honorable Mary Janes Bowes in the Pennsylvania Superior Court. While earning his juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, JP worked in Legal and Corporate Affairs for an energy company, where he assisted with corporate, compliance, and litigation matters.
