Kate Chrisman is a litigator with experience handling complex commercial and institutional disputes in state and federal courts. Her practice encompasses business litigation, including partner and ownership disputes, corporate and business entity liability matters, employment disputes, and education litigation. Katherine represents business entities, individuals, and educational institutions in litigation involving discrimination claims, internal disciplinary and regulatory systems, and other matters concerning institutional liability. She has defended business in federal and state investigations and settled a multitude of cases at the federal and state levels.
Before Kate entered private practice, she was a deputy attorney general in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General and a law clerk for the Honorable Paula T. Dow in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division. While earning her law degree, Kate was an extern for the Honorable Jerome B. Simandle in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Before law school, she was an associate for OneAmerica’s Washington New Americans Program. In this role, Kate directed pro bono immigration clinics and provided trainings to attorneys and paralegals regarding naturalization.
Kate continues to be committed to pro bono advocacy and has served as counsel in pro bono immigration and criminal matters. She currently serves as the New Jersey representative of SWAGR at Saul (Supporting Women in Advancement, Growth & Results (SWAGR).
