- Advising a reinsurer of exposures presented by new privacy and cybersecurity regulations and emerging new litigation theories of liability.
Cybersecurity and Privacy
- Representing a company experiencing a data security incident in need of advice on the multi-jurisdictional response requirements, remediation of risks to affected individuals and of the company's own computer systems, and on compliance with data security regulations and statutes.
Insurance Litigation and Arbitration
- Advising a large domestic U.S. insurer issuing pollution liability insurance policies in addressing coverage issues arising from mold coverage of multi-family and resort facilities.
- Advising an international insurer on exposures and coordination of coverage positions on claims arising from pollution events and impacting multiple lines of insurance and policies.
- Assisting a general liability insurer on "other insurance" issues arising in connection with accidents noticed to multiple lines of insurers.
- Advising a kidnap & ransom insurer in responding to reported incidents.
Professional Liability
- Representing an insurer that issues subcontractor default insurance, and cost-cap/limited fixed price remediation insurance, in disputes.
- Representing a specialty lines insurer on coverage issues arising from EPL, D&O and professional liability coverages.
