As a member of the firm's Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice, Rachael Gonzales assists with Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 proceedings, out-of-court workouts, and Chapter 15 cross-border insolvency cases. Her experience includes representations of secured and unsecured creditors, federal and state equity receivers, administrative agents, trade vendors, insurance rehabilitators, and other stakeholders.
Rachael drafts and negotiates DIP financing and cash collateral orders and 363 sale documents. She advises receivers in SEC and FTC enforcement actions on sale processes, claims administration, and distributions, and she appears in state and federal courts in connection with these matters.
Before entering private practice, Rachael clerked for the late Honorable John T. Dorsey in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, giving her insight into judicial decision-making in high-profile bankruptcy and restructuring cases.
