Sarah Nichols is a corporate attorney who advises clients on the legal aspects of the development, growth and operations of their companies. Her experience spans the corporate lifecycle, from providing counsel on formation and early growth through capital raising, strategic transactions, and ongoing compliance.
Sarah’s practice includes advising clients on buy-side and sell-side middle-market M&A transactions, private placements and other securities matters (including Section 16 filings), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act related regulatory matters, and day-to-day corporate and strategic issues for companies. Her work is grounded in a practical, business-oriented approach to managing transactional and regulatory risk.
Sarah holds both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Richmond. Before entering private practice, she gained experience in legal operations and innovation, the mortgage and real estate services industry, as well as in public-sector legal roles.
