  • An international venture capital fund in litigation initiated to enforce its rights and to recover damages under a stock transfer agreement.
  • A real estate investment firm in arbitration relating to the calculation of a post-closing working capital adjustment made under an agreement for the transfer of certain assets to a joint venture partner.
  • Limited partners in a high-end mixed-use project located in Miami, Florida in litigation concerning the clients’ rights to inspect the partnership’s books and records.
  • A European manufacturer of corporate aircraft in a dispute with a sole-source supplier of galley components.
  • An investment bank in an action seeking to recover a multi-million dollar tail fee, in which the client’s claims were successfully resolved after defeating a motion to dismiss.
  • A limited partner in four partnerships in related actions brought against the general partners and their management company concerning commercial real estate located in New York and valued at over $300 million.

  • The liquidating trustee appointed in the Chapter 11 cases of a Bermuda-based company and its U.S.-based subsidiaries, which were specialty providers of workers’ compensation insurance products and services, and against which claims totaling in excess of $1.5 billion were asserted in connection with the efforts to analyze, assert, and resolve litigation claims against the companies’ former directors and officers.
  • The litigation trustee appointed in the Chapter 11 case of the country’s second-largest ambulance service provider in the investigation, analysis, and prosecution of claims against the company’s former chief executive officer and directors.
