Represent a major offshore wind developer in Maryland in a wide range of development matters, including acquisition of real estate; development of a steel factory at Sparrows Point; interconnections from offshore turbines to onshore electricity grids; advocacy before the Maryland Public Service Commission to seek approvals for offshore renewable energy credits (OREC); counsel on compliance with Minority Business Enterprise requirements; and review of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts for regulatory and compliance issues.
Provides due diligence on renewable energy projects, including purchase, sale and financing of portfolios of solar projects.
