Dora has extensive experience in global mobility and business immigration. Clients she works with include foreign nationals, hiring managers, and recruiters for companies of various sizes, including Fortune 500 companies, and across a range of industries such as banking and finance, technology, real estate, manufacturing and the arts. Clients also look to Dora for counsel on navigating immigration requirements resulting from corporate reorganization, mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Dora collaborates with business leads to develop their workforce mobility strategies and immigration compliance programs by providing immigration policy guidance and direct immigration support. She also has experience with employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1 as well as preparing responses to requests for evidence (RFEs) and notices of intent to deny (NOID). Additionally, she provides counsel on consular processing, adjustment of status, and handles N-400 nationalization petitions.
Corporate Experience
Dora started her early career as a corporate and securities lawyer in Beijing and Hong Kong, where she provided counsel to domestic and international companies in various transactional matters, including capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate affairs. This included drafting and negotiating public offering and disclosure documents, such as prospectus, corporate resolutions, HKEx responses, and legal opinions. In her M&A and general corporate capacity, she conducted due diligence and drafted and negotiated joint venture contracts, share purchase agreements, and other transactional documents.
