Brandon Clark advises clients on complex litigation and ADR proceedings involving disputes arising from commercial construction projects. Brandon represents clients ranging from general contractors and developers to engineering firms and consortiums undertaking public works projects. His experience includes disputes arising from project delays, cost overruns and construction defects, as well as policyholder insurance claims arising from such disputes.

Brandon’s experience with construction matters is informed by his prior work as a mechanical engineer. After earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, he worked for an engineering firm where he specialized in safety analyses related to pressurized water nuclear power reactors.

Brandon also represents clients in cases involving commercial litigation and policyholder insurance recovery disputes. He maintains an active pro bono practice.

Simultaneously prosecuting and defending claims involving a general contractor involving both the project owner and multiple subcontractors, arising from delayed and over-budget construction of a state-of-the-art net-zero elementary school building.
Advising a multi-national consortium leading a massive international public works project in obtaining a multi-million dollar recovery under a design engineer’s professional liability insurance policy.
Litigating on behalf of a general contractor in federal court against an insurance broker over mismanagement of a Contractor Controlled Insurance Program.
Advising a developer in concurrently prosecuting subcontractor claims, defending owner claims, and seeking insurance recovery under project policies stemming from a shopping center development.
Defending a Fortune 500 engineering firm in international ADR proceedings from claims including fraudulent inducement and gross negligence.
Advising a Fortune 500 engineering company during a troubled project in anticipation of litigation.
Representing a local developer in litigation regarding condominium construction defect claims.
